A figure kneels in a flat field, hands resting on the thighs, while a dark bank of weather sits where the head should be. The storm is not above him or behind him; it has become the place where identity used to sit. The low horizon leaves most of the image to the sky, so the body is outnumbered by its own atmosphere. From the Despondency series, where context is removed until only the condition remains. The forecast is not improving.
