A figure lies inverted across a chair, head hanging toward the floor, one leg raised behind the body. The chair is doing the job of a room, a stage, and a witness, which is generous of it under the circumstances. Lounge Tragedies keeps putting bodies into domestic arrangements that have stopped pretending to comfort anyone. Notice the halftone shadow beneath the chair, neat and obedient under a body that is neither. The furniture is coping better than the person.
